Baseball meets pinball Friday, May 9

Duane Tom's extensive baseball memorabilia collection meets the PPM's baseball-themed pinball collection in another one-of-a-kind art event. An underlying theme of the show is the art of collecting, itself. As Tom sees it; "Collections are stories, and the collectors are the storytellers.  The story can be a simple one, or it can be more complex.  And just as every story has a beginning, middle and end, so can your collection."   Along with Duane's incredible ephemera will be baseball themed pinballs and a couple pitch-n-bats to excite the baseball enthusiast in all of us. Op Pop Pop backglass art by Christian Marche

Pinball Style is an exhibition with commentary on pinball art from the 1940’s through the 2000’s.  Melissa Harmon’s work explores dramatic and historical context with a touch of Fashion Police humor. See how pinball reflects the tastes of the day with beautiful, sometimes risque' backglass and playfield art designed to extract loose change from young men's trousers.
